Obverse description Bare-headed effigy of King Farouk I in left-facing profile, depicted in military dress uniform with decorative epaulettes and braided cord. The portrait is rendered in high relief within the hexagonal flan, framed by an inner beaded border following the six-sided contour of the coin. The Arabic legend 'فاروق الأول ملك مصر' (Farouk I, King of Egypt) is inscribed in flowing script to the right and left of the effigy in the field.
