Obverse description Central device consists of the Saudi Arabian national emblem: a date palm surmounting two crossed scimitars, all rendered in relief against an unadorned field. A continuous Arabic legend arcs above the central device identifying the ruler, while a second Arabic inscription curves below naming the kingdom. This face serves as both obverse and reverse on this double-obverse mule error, with both dies struck from the same obverse die of the reign of King Faisal.

Reverse description Identical to the obverse, this side presents the same national emblem of a date palm rising above two crossed scimitars at center, a characteristic feature of this double-obverse mule error. The encircling Arabic legend above reads the ruler's name and titles, while the legend below names the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Both sides of this error coin were struck using the same obverse die, making the denomination and date legends absent from what would normally be the reverse face.
