Reverse description Within the copper-nickel inner disc, a dynamic low-relief depiction of a rugby player diving forward to score a try, ball in hand, stretching across the try line. To the upper right of the field, the Tudor rose emblem of the Rugby Football Union is prominently featured, accompanied by the commemorative inscription RFU 150 beneath it. The outer nickel brass ring bears the curved legend 150 YEARS RUGBY FOOTBALL UNION around the upper arc and TWO POUNDS along the lower arc, separated by decorative dots.
