Obverse description Right-facing draped bust of Queen Elizabeth II, wearing the Girls of Great Britain and Ireland tiara, engraved in the fourth definitive portrait by Ian Rank-Broadley. The legend ELIZABETH II • 2011 • BRITISH INDIAN OCEAN TERRITORY arcs around the periphery, with the engraver's initials IRB truncated at the shoulder.
