| Reverse description | The central field of the silver inner disc features a large, finely detailed red-coloured Royal British Legion poppy in full face view, its four overlapping petals rendered with radiating surface texture and applied colour. At the centre of the poppy head, a small raised silver disc bears the inscription LEST WE FORGET in miniature lettering. The 24-carat gold-plated outer ring is decorated with a continuous wreath of laurel branches framing the inner disc, with the commemorative legend WE WILL REMEMBER THEM arcing along the upper border and the denomination TWO POUNDS inscribed along the lower border, all in raised Latin lettering. |
