Part of the Royal Mint's ongoing Robin Hood series, this issue depicts Little John — the second release following the 2021 Hood himself. The series draws on the Sherwood Forest outlaw tradition most firmly codified in the 15th-century ballad cycle A Gest of Robyn Hode, though Little John appears in manuscripts predating even that collection.
Mintage was capped at 4,000 pieces worldwide.
