| Reverse description | The central copper-nickel disc bears a raised circular boss surrounded by a radially arranged composition of twelve heraldic shield-shaped panels, each containing the armorial crest of one of Jersey's twelve parishes, engraved by Alan Copp. The shields are separated by raised ribs emanating from the central boss, creating a sunburst effect across the copper-nickel field. The nickel-brass outer ring carries the legend BAILIWICK OF JERSEY to the upper arc and the date 1997 at the base. |
