Obverse description Bare-headed effigy of King Charles III facing left, modelled by sculptor Martin Jennings, occupying the central field against a finely engine-turned guilloche background. The circumferential legend reads CHARLES III · D · G · REX · F · D · 2 POUNDS, disposed around the portrait with the denomination completing the arc at lower right. Reverse description The full Achievement of the Royal Arms of the United Kingdom occupies the central field, featuring the quartered shield displaying the arms of England (three passant guardant lions), Scotland (a rampant lion within a double tressure), and Ireland (a harp), surmounted by the Royal Crown and helm. The dexter supporter is the crowned lion of England and the sinister supporter is the chained unicorn of Scotland, both rampant, standing upon a compartment strewn with the floral emblems of the constituent nations. The Garter motto HONI SOIT QUI MAL Y PENSE encircles the shield, and the motto DIEU ET MON DROIT is inscribed on a ribbon scroll below the supporters. The date 2026 appears prominently in large numerals at the base of the field, and the outer legend 1OZ · FINE SILVER · 999 · 2026 repeats continuously around the entire border.
