| Obverse description | Octagonal zinc notgeld token with a plain pearl border along the outer edge. A circular beaded inner border encloses the large raised numeral '2' at center, denoting the denomination. The circular legend surrounding the beaded circle reads 'OTTO ZÄNGLEIN TIEFBAU-UNTERNEHMUNG' above and 'MEUSELWITZ S.A.' below, all in Latin characters. The overall design is utilitarian and typographic, characteristic of German private emergency coinage of the early 1920s. |
