| Reverse description | Octagonal field with a continuous border of raised beads following the coin's perimeter. The denomination numeral '2' is displayed prominently at center within a raised rope or cable inner circle. The circular legend 'KLEINGELDERSATZMARKE' runs along the upper periphery between the bead border and the rope circle, identifying this piece as a small-change substitute token. Three six-pointed stars appear at the base of the design below the rope circle, serving as decorative separators. The overall design is characteristic of municipal German emergency coinage issued during the coin shortage of World War I. |
