| Obverse description | Plain octagonal zinc field with a dotted inner border running along the entire perimeter. The circular legend CARL WEBER & C° G.m.b.H. arcs across the upper portion, with the issuing locality OERLINGHAUSEN completing the circuit along the lower portion, both separated by small raised dot stops. The date 1917 is prominently struck in large numerals at the centre of the field, with the abbreviated firm designation G.m.b.H. CO. rendered in smaller lettering immediately above. |
