Obverse description Uniface hammered coin displaying three heart-shaped shields arranged in trefoil formation within a beaded border. The upper shield bears the Austrian eagle displayed, the lower-left shield features a rampant lion representing Styria, and the lower-right shield is plain, representing the Carinthian or regional arms. The date 16-34 is divided and flanked to either side of the upper shield, with the initial letter F for Ferdinand II positioned at the base between the lower two shields. The overall design is struck in low relief typical of small billon Pfennig coinage of the Inner Austrian mints.
