| Reverse description | The reverse of this octagonal zinc notgeld token displays the large numeral '2' in the centre of the field, enclosed within a raised twisted rope border forming an inner circle. The circular legend 'KLEINGELDERSATZMARKE' is inscribed in bold raised Latin letters around the upper and lateral periphery, denoting its function as a small-change substitute token. Three six-pointed stars are evenly spaced in the lower field below the rope border. The entire design is bordered by a ring of raised pellets following the octagonal outline, imparting a simple yet functional aesthetic typical of German industrial emergency coinage of the early 1920s. |
