Obverse description Uniface pattern die trial displaying the denomination legend 'DOS PESOS' in two lines at centre, all within an open wreath of oak and laurel branches tied with a ribbon bow at the base. The date '1945' appears in the upper field above the wreath, and the Mexican Mint mark 'M' with a small superscript degree symbol (M°) is placed at the lower interior of the wreath, just above the ribbon tie. The recessed concave field and raised rim are characteristic of a uniface pattern striking, with reeding visible on the collar edge.
