Obverse description Black letterpress print on white paper, with the heading "ESTADOS UNIDOS DE NUEVA GRANADA" in bold uppercase letters across the top, flanked by three small circular vignettes containing globe motifs. To the left, a large ornate numeral "2" is intertwined with a heraldic eagle vignette. The denomination "DOS PESOS" appears in a bold black panel at centre, followed by the parenthetical equivalent "(o sean Veinte reales)", with the body text in italic script and two manuscript signatures at the bottom above the place and date line "Bogotá, ___ de 186__". A red circular seal is applied to the right portion of the note.
