| Obverse description | Plain white paper emergency issue executed entirely in letterpress typeset. Large numeral "2" vignettes anchor each lateral margin, while the upper portion bears the heading "CIRCULATING PAPER BILL" followed by the date and the authorizing resolution reference. The central text carries the promise-to-pay clause in favour of the bearer for Two Pesos in lawful Philippine currency, with three manuscript signatures accompanied by printed name and title attributions along the lower edge, all enclosed within a repeated guilloche-style ornamental border. |
