Obverse description Plain cream paper with a double-rule rectangular border enclosing all text, printed in black letterpress throughout. The face value "DUES Pessetes" is set vertically along the left margin in large bold red capitals, separated from the main text field by a vertical rule. The body carries the issuing authority and bearer clause in a mix of blackletter and roman typefaces, with the place and date "El Vendrell, gener del 1938" at lower left, a serial number below, and the mayor's printed signature "L'Alcalde, Josep Calvo" at lower right; the printer's imprint "IMP. BARNADAS - VENDRELL" appears in the bottom margin.

Reverse description Blank cream paper with a single circular municipal validation stamp applied in grey-blue ink, positioned left of centre. The stamp bears a central vignette of a cloaked bust in profile, enclosed within an inner ring, with the legend "AJUNTAMENT D'EL VENDRELL" and "OFICINA DE REFUGIATS" in the outer annulus, separated by two small five-pointed stars.
