| Obverse description | Plain cream paper with a double-rule rectangular border enclosing all text, printed in black letterpress throughout. The face value "DUES Pessetes" is set vertically along the left margin in large bold red capitals, separated from the main text field by a vertical rule. The body carries the issuing authority and bearer clause in a mix of blackletter and roman typefaces, with the place and date "El Vendrell, gener del 1938" at lower left, a serial number below, and the mayor's printed signature "L'Alcalde, Josep Calvo" at lower right; the printer's imprint "IMP.
