| Obverse description | Printed on orange-tinted paper in black letterpress, the note is enclosed within a dotted rectangular border. The denomination '2'00' appears in the upper left corner, with the issuing authority 'Generalitat de Catalunya' in large Gothic-style type across the top, followed by 'Departament d'Assistencia Social' and a bold Gothic heading for refugee assistance. The body text sets out the bearer obligation in Catalan, dated El Vendrell, October 1937, with a handwritten presidential signature to the right of a four-digit serial number at lower left, and the printer's imprint 'IMP.
