Obverse description The Hungarian royal coat of arms is displayed centrally within a linear circle, surmounted by the Holy Crown of Saint Stephen. The shield is divided into two halves: the dexter side bears the traditional silver and red horizontal stripes of the Árpád dynasty, while the sinister side features the patriarchal double cross on a green triple hill. The circular legend reading '·MAGYAR·KIRÁLYSÁG·' runs along the upper periphery, with the date positioned to the right, all in raised Latin lettering.
