| Obverse description | Right-facing effigy of Queen Elizabeth II, engraved by Arnold Machin, wearing the Girls of Great Britain and Ireland Tiara. The truncated draped bust occupies the central field, rendered in a portrait style consistent with Machin's definitive second effigy. The encircling legend reads ISLE OF MAN ELIZABETH II followed by the year of issue, all in Latin script. |

| Reverse description | A boldly rendered Red-billed Chough (Pyrrhocorax pyrrhocorax) depicted in dynamic mid-flight, wings fully spread and tail fanned, filling virtually the entire field in a stylised yet naturalistic manner engraved by Leslie Lindsay. The bird's distinctive curved bill and splayed primary feathers are rendered with fine detail against a deeply mirrored proof field. Decorative Celtic-inspired foliate scrollwork frames the composition, intertwining around the bird and continuing to the lower portion of the field. The denomination numeral '2' appears in an ornate stylised script at the base, integrated into the decorative scrollwork. No peripheral legend is present on the reverse. |
