Reverse description The armorial badge of the Prince of Wales occupies the centre of the field, depicting a plume of three ostrich feathers issuing from and enfilading a coronet comprising crosses pattée and fleurs-de-lis. The Welsh motto ICH DIEN, meaning 'I Serve', is inscribed on a ribbon below the coronet, dividing the design, with the legend TWO PENCE arching above and the numeral 2 appearing below, all within a plain field. The design was engraved by Christopher Ironside.
