Obverse description Central device depicting a hamsa (sacred goose or Brahmin duck) in profile, rendered in a stylized Khmer artistic tradition, surrounded by a seed or grain motif in the field. The design is executed in low relief typical of hammered Cambodian silver coinage, with the figure occupying the majority of the flan. Khmer script inscriptions appear within the field around the central device, partially worn. The irregular flan and variable strike quality are characteristic of hand-hammered production from this period.

Reverse description Plain, flat or slightly convex surface bearing no deliberate design, exhibiting the characteristic smooth or lightly textured appearance resulting from the hammering process applied to the reverse anvil face. The flan shows natural flow lines and minor surface irregularities consistent with hand-worked silver planchets of the mid-nineteenth century Cambodian mint tradition. Faint ghost impressions from the obverse die may be visible due to the thinness of the flan.
