Reverse description The Royal Arms of Tonga displayed prominently in the centre of the field, comprising a quartered shield bearing a star, a crown, three swords, and a dove, supported on either side by a warrior holding a crossed flag. A royal crown surmounts the shield, itself encircled by a wreath. Three scrolled banners beneath the shield carry the motto legends KO E 'OTUA MO TONGA KO HOKU TOFIA. The denomination TWO PA'ANGA appears in the upper arc and the country name TONGA is inscribed at the base, all in raised Latin lettering within a beaded border.
