Obverse description Highly detailed antique-finished shield-shaped silver piece in high relief, reproducing the famous Shield of Henry II of France. The central field depicts a dynamic cavalry battle scene set within an oval cartouche, surmounted by a grotesque mask flanked by scrolling acanthus foliage. Smaller oval medallions with figural devices occupy the corners, and the rope-twist border is studded with bosses throughout.

Reverse description Reverse of the shield-shaped silver piece, presenting the same overall composition as the obverse but in slightly lower relief with a flatter field, designed to nest and stack flush against a corresponding obverse surface. The central battle scene cartouche, grotesque mask, scrolling acanthus ornament, corner medallions, and rope-twist studded border are all rendered with fine engraved detail.
