Reverse description Central square hole flanked by four Chinese characters arranged in cruciform fashion. The mint mark 营 (Yŏng), denoting the Oyongchong (御營廳, Special Army Unit), appears at the top. The cyclical series designator 四 (Sa, meaning 'four') appears at the bottom, identifying this as the fourth series issue. The character 水 (Su, meaning 'Water') appears at the left, denoting the Water element within the Five Elements sequence used to differentiate emissions from this mint. The right position is blank. Characters are cast in traditional regular script consistent with mid-18th century Joseon minting practice.
