Reverse description The reverse displays a mint mark character at the top of the square central hole, with one of the Five Elements (Wu Xing) designator character appearing below the hole. The character 营 (Yŏng), denoting the Treasury Department or Military Supply Bureau, appears as the primary mint identifier. The character 地 (Di), representing the Earth element, is positioned below the central perforation. All characters are cast in relief within a plain field, consistent with standard Joseon cash coin production practice.
