Reverse description Round cast copper coin with a central square perforation and a raised square inner rim. Two large Chinese characters in traditional regular script (kaishu) are positioned above and below the square hole: 捴 (chong) appears above and 捴/往 appears below, denoting the issuing authority — the General Military Office (捴戎廳, Chongyongcheong). The field is otherwise plain between the square and outer rims, displaying the characteristic brown patina with green cuprite encrustation typical of Joseon cast cash coins.
