Reverse description Round cast copper coin with a central square perforation framed by a raised square rim. The reverse bears two Chinese characters in regular script: 捴 (above the square hole), denoting the issuing authority — the General Military Office (Chong) — and 地 (below the square hole), representing the Earth heavenly stem series designation for this emission. The characters are raised in bold relief against a plain, unadorned field, with a flat outer rim. This combination of mint and series marks was a standard practice in Joseon coinage to distinguish issues by office and batch.
