Reverse description Central square hole with mint and issue identifiers arranged in the four cardinal positions, read in regular script (kaishu). The character 捴 (Chong), denoting the General Military Office (Chong融府), appears at the top. The character 地 (Chi, meaning 'Earth'), one of the characters from the Thousand Character Classic used as a serial denomination marker, appears at the bottom. The fields are otherwise plain, consistent with standard Joseon cast cash coinage practice.
