| Reverse description | The reverse displays two Chinese characters flanking the central square hole, serving as mint and series identifiers. The mint mark 訓 (hun), denoting the Hullyeondogam (Military Training Command), appears at the top of the hole; the series number appears at the bottom, ranging from one through ten across the known varieties. Some specimens additionally bear a concave star or concave dot privy mark at various positions around the hole — left, right, bottom, or intermediate clock positions — used to distinguish individual die varieties within the same series. The characters are cast in regular script and stand in bold relief against the plain field. |
