| Obverse description | Central square panel containing a circular cartouche with Devanagari legend in the field, surrounded by a decorative framework of floral and geometric motifs arranged in a traditional Nepalese tantric design. The border is composed of a continuous beaded rim encircling the entire face. Devanagari inscriptions appear in each quadrant of the square, identifying the issuer as Sri Tribhuvan Bir Bikram Shahdev. The overall composition follows the classical sacred yantra layout characteristic of Nepalese coinage of this era. |
