Obverse description Central square panel containing the royal name 'Sri Sri Prithvi Bira Bikrama Shaha Deva' in Devanagari script, arranged in a traditional grid pattern surrounding a central floral or conch motif. The Vikrama Samvat regnal date VS 1831 appears within the lower portion of the square. The square is framed by an ornate border of decorative foliate and geometric elements, with a beaded outer rim encircling the entire design. The layout follows the classical Nepalese tantric yantra design aesthetic typical of Shah-dynasty silver coinage.
