| Reverse description | Central field displays a plain Latin cross with slightly splayed arms, contained within a beaded inner circle. The cross divides the inner field into four quadrants, each plain. A circular legend in uncial Latin characters reading PRO DEO DA PAVPERIBVS (For God, give to the poor) runs along the outer border between the beaded circle and the coin's edge. The overall style is consistent with the utilitarian, low-denomination billon coinage of the Duchy of Brabant under Mary of Burgundy. |
