| Obverse description | Central field bearing a two-line inscription in uncial Gothic lettering, separated by a raised horizontal bar, all enclosed within an inner beaded or toothed circle. The peripheral legend runs along the outer rim of the flan, partially legible due to the irregular strike characteristic of hammered medieval coinage. The execution is typical of small feudal Low Countries issues of the late 14th century, with crude but intentional lettering arranged symmetrically around the central dividing line. |
