Obverse description Intaglio-printed note in black and green on white paper, with the Imperial Arms of Brazil rendered in the right vignette and an agricultural allegory occupying the centre beneath the legend IMPÉRIO DO BRASIL. To the left, the authorising text references the Decree of 1 June 1833, with the denomination numeral 2 repeated at each corner; a stamped serial number appears on the face.
