Obverse description Bare-headed right-facing effigy of Kaiser Wilhelm II, King of Prussia, rendered in high relief with finely detailed hair and a characteristic upturned mustache. The truncation of the bust appears at the lower center of the field, with the mint mark 'A' incuse below. A continuous circular legend surrounds the portrait, reading 'WILHELM II DEUTSCHER KAISER KÖNIG V. PREUSSEN', separated from the milled border by an inner beaded ring. The portrait, engraved by Otto Schultz, reflects the academic realist style prevalent in Wilhelmine imperial coinage.
