Reverse description Centrally placed crowned imperial German eagle with spread wings, displayed facing, bearing an ornate heraldic shield on its breast and clutching regalia in its talons. The eagle is surrounded by elaborate decorative mantling and foliate scrollwork at the base. The legend DEUTSCHES REICH arcs across the upper field, the date appears to the right, and the denomination ZWEI MARK is inscribed across the lower arc, flanked by small five-pointed stars. The entire design is enclosed within a beaded border.
