Obverse description Notgeld issued for the Oldenburger Woche trade fair of 21–31 May 1922, printed in dark purple and pink on cream paper with a scalloped ornamental border and a hatched lavender outer frame. To the left, a large circular vignette carries the interlaced monogram 'OW' (Oldenburger Woche, Oldenburg) within a decorative ring inscribed with the event name and dates. To the right, the denomination '2 MARK' is set in bold letterpress above a block of German text recording the issuing authority, validity period, and place of issue, beneath which three facsimile signatures of the Geschäftsausschuss appear.

Reverse description The reverse carries a dynamic industrial vignette printed in the same pink and lavender palette, enclosed within a jagged lightning-bolt border. A large steel lattice pylon or crane structure dominates the left foreground, while a suspended load and a river or canal scene with vessels and wharfside machinery extend into the background, evoking Oldenburg's commercial ambitions. A curved ribbon banner along the lower edge bears the motto, and the denomination '2 M' appears in the upper left corner; a small initial 'B' is placed at lower right, likely indicating the designer.
