| Obverse description | Armored and crowned half-length effigy of King Gustav II Adolf facing right, holding a scepter in the right hand and the Globus Cruciger in the left. Above the king's crowned head, within the inner legend band, appears the radiant Tetragrammaton (יהוה) in Hebrew script. The effigy is encircled by a double-line border containing two concentric legend bands, the outer carrying the royal titulature and the inner the devotional inscriptions. |
