| Obverse description | The face is printed on pale salmon-brown paper and dominated by a bold Jugendstil woodcut vignette in black ink, in which the denomination word "Zwei" and numeral "2" are rendered in elaborate ornamental script with swirling decorative fills. The issuer inscription "Stadt Exin" appears in a decorative Fraktur band flanked by double rules, while the date and authority line "den 1. November 1918 – Der Magistrat" runs across the lower portion in a smaller cursive hand. An underprint of repeating municipal coats of arms and geometric ornaments frames the composition, with the Gothic numeral "2" at each corner. |
