Obverse description Crowned quartered coat of arms of Sweden occupies the central field, with Three Crowns of Sweden in the first and fourth quarters and the Folkung Lion in the second and third quarters; a central escutcheon bears the Vasa family arms. The entire armorial composition is enclosed within a beaded or linear circle. A continuous Latin legend encircles the design in the outer field.
