| Reverse description | A large, elaborate royal crown occupies the central field, rendered in fine detail with arched bands decorated with foliage, a orb and cross at the apex, and a jewelled circlet at the base featuring a row of oval cabochons. The motto DOMINVS PROVIDEBIT (The Lord will provide) is inscribed in a flowing script across the crown's body. A circular outer legend reads the continuation of the royal titulature including VAN·G·REX and the date 1666, all enclosed within a toothed inner border and a milled outer rim. The shamrock mintmark of the Copenhagen Mint appears in the legend. |
