Obverse description The obverse is printed in blue and red on cream paper, dominated by a broad blue horizontal band across the upper half bearing the issuing authority's name in bold Jugendstil lettering. Centered within this band is the city's heraldic shield — a crowned female figure in red robes holding branches, set within a white cartouche with scrolled ornaments — flanked on either side by red-framed denomination panels reading 'ZWEI MARK'. The lower portion carries a red silhouette panorama of the Königsberg in der Neumark townscape with church spires and towers, above two facsimile signatures of the Magistrat officials and a validity clause in blue letterpress.

Reverse description The reverse presents a bold two-color lithographic vignette in red and blue illustrating a medieval historical scene set before the silhouette of Königsberg's town walls and towers. A group of armored knights and robed figures surround a central armored warrior standing over a fallen body, while a figure gestures from atop the battlements in the background. The denomination '2 MARK' appears in red panels at lower left and right, flanking a text cartouche in Middle Low German verse, with the printer's imprint 'H. Madrasch, Königsberg.' in red below the lower border.
