Obverse description The obverse is set within an ornate art nouveau border of green and black geometric and floral motifs, with the heading 'Gutschein der Stadt Soldin' in Gothic script on a yellow-green panel at top. Below the heading, two civic coats of arms flank a central vignette of a medieval stone tower or church ruin rendered in fine black letterpress line work, with trees visible to either side. At the bottom, two red denomination numerals '2.00 Mark' appear in boxed panels flanking a central cartouche with a four-line verse in German Gothic script, with the printer's imprint 'H. Madrasch, Soldin' at the foot.
Obverse lettering Gutschein der Stadt Soldin.
Einlösung erfolgt nach Aufruf von den städtischen Kassen.
