Reverse description The reverse is printed in purple and black and centred on a large dramatic vignette by W. H. Lippert illustrating Blücher's march to Waterloo, with Prussian cavalry officers on horseback advancing across a battlefield strewn with overturned artillery pieces and fallen equipment. Two narrow flanking panels bear the stylised Gothic letter 'M' in decorative form, with a Prussian eagle cartouche at the lower left margin. A Gothic script caption below the central scene reads 'Blüchers Marsch nach Waterloo', and the registered design mark 'D.R.G.M. 795679' appears beneath the lower border.
