| Obverse description | Veiled and draped bust of Empress Maria Theresia facing right, rendered in a restrained Baroque style. The sovereign wears a widow's veil, befitting her dynastic iconography after 1765. The surrounding legend, abbreviated in Latin, reads M·T·D·G·R·IMP·G·H·B·REG·A·A·D·BURG·, expanding to Maria Theresia, Dei Gratia Romanorum Imperatrix, Germaniae, Hungariae, Bohemiaeque Regina, Archidux Austriae, Dux Burgundiae.
