| Obverse description | The obverse features the Bulgarian state coat of arms at center, depicting a crowned shield bearing a rampant lion, supported by two rampant lions as heraldic supporters, with crossed flags above the crown and a decorative cartouche below. The entire device is rendered in high relief with fine engraved detail. The circular legend reads БЪЛГАРИЯ in the upper field and СЪЕДИНЕНИЕТО ПРАВИ СИЛАТА (Unity Makes Strength) along the lower periphery, separated by star ornaments.
