Reverse description Three-quarter perspective view of the Bojana Church, a medieval Bulgarian Orthodox church located near Sofia, rendered in fine detail showing its characteristic stone masonry walls, arched entrance portal, and domed roof surmounted by a cross. The architectural depiction captures both the older twelfth-century tower and the thirteenth-century annex. The central motif is framed by an elaborate border of scrolling foliate and arabesque ornamental devices encircling the entire field. The mirror-polished proof field provides strong contrast against the frosted relief of the church. No legends appear on the reverse.
