| Obverse description | Uniface trial strike bearing the Romanian Royal Coat of Arms at centre, featuring a quartered shield surmounted by a royal crown and supported by two rampant lions on either side. The date is split across the lower portion of the field, flanked by the crown, reading '19 23'. The legend 'ROMANIA' arcs along the upper periphery in raised Latin capitals. A fine beaded inner border frames the central design. The reverse is plain and unstruck, consistent with an obverse-only die trial. |
