| Obverse description | Central round hole flanked by the royal double cypher of Frederik X (FXF) rendered in monogram form, positioned in the lower portion of the field. A royal crown appears in relief above the central hole. The date 2025 is divided by the monogram, appearing at its sides. Frederik X acceded to the Danish throne on 14 January 2024, following Queen Margrethe II's abdication — the first voluntary abdication in Danish history. This 2025 issue is among the earliest circulating coinage to bear his effigy, making it a first-reign type by any reasonable definition.
